my knee hurts...
Just got back from a little pre-Spring Break partying over at North. A good time for sure. One last fling with the Tripod (AKA Ben, Brandon, and I) for over a week. But we'll all be out west for vacation. Not that we'll see eachother or anything, but you know. So I was walking to my car with Justin (he lives in the dorm right below me, and he's going to be a filmmaker which makes him extra PIMP, and he lives in Ionia which is where Pat and I stopped on our way back last Sunday at the Pilot Station) Where was I? Ahh, yes. We were walking out to my car and I bit it quite hard on some black ice. It made me laugh. I thought of all the other times I have fallen on ice in my life, especially on my grandma's driveway. So, my knee hurts a little, but it was worth the laugh. I find it very entertaining when people get hurt, even just a little. And even when it's me. It's sick I know. Tomarrow I am home free. I think I'll go see Mrs Reineke and tell her how much I actually use the Barbara K tool kit she gave me for graduation. There are also a couple of movies I would like to see...The Motorcycle Diaries being one of them. And then on Saturday it is Cal-Ah-Forn-Ya... woo hoo! I am so excited but also sad that my Price Is Right Tickets have not made it to my mailbox. So this may just be it until I get back... Welcome to Live Journal...
So, I have a Live Journal. A year and some later. I'd like to dedicate this entry to Julie, without her I might never know what a Live Journal is... I am jealous that I don't have an 8:00 AM studio on Thursdays. Well, not normally because I get to sleep in while all of those other suckers have to go to class. But today I wish I could have been there because some creepy guy from off the street came into the studios and was walking around chewing on his glove and asking people if they wanted to see his artwork. Nothing that exciting ever happens in studio, except for occasional crits in Yolanta Skorupka's, so naturally I was a little jealous. I would have let him show me his work. And if it had been yesterday (and my class hadn't been gone on a field trip) I'm sure Greg would have welcomed him into our class. Because Greg is awesome. I did have Stern's class today though and I wish that everyone could sit in on that class...it's a good time. And I got an A on my vocab quiz. Woo Hoo! Then I went to lunch with Mary Grace. What a nice girl she is... And as for now, writing in my Live Journal is far more important than going to my 2 o'clock studio and watching kids give site plan presentations. Though I am missing out on some quality Tripod time and the chance of missing something funny from the mouth of Mark. Oh well, I am ready for vacation to start tomarrow. Current Mood: ready. |
